BACKGROUND & SKILLS SCREENING (it’s the only way to really know)…

At Staffing Alternatives, all of our applicants are screened prior to an offer of employment. A thorough in-person interview is conducted and topics discussed in the interview include the applicant’s past employment history, job preferences and goals, specific skills and gaps in employment (if any). At least two past employment references are verified (of course, upon verification, each reference must be a positive one for Staffing Alternatives to hire the applicant) and evaluations on specific skills are performed. If all “checks out” we add another satisfied temporary associate to the Staffing Alternatives’ family!

STAFFING, THE STAFFING ALTERNATIVES’ WAY…

When we staff, we do so based on your requirements. Many staffing services will place a “body” at your location and hope everything works out. Staffing Alternatives’ searches our database and finds the right employee with the right skills for each assignment. Each employee arrives “assignment ready” from day one.

INVOICING & REPORTS, DESIGNED FOR YOU…

Staffing Alternatives produces reports and invoices for you in any way you would like. We can fax, e-mail, snail mail or overnight mail any report or invoice at a moment’s notice.

Staffing Alternatives’ employees work on assignment for 720 hours. This allows you to monitor their performance before you hire them. If after the 720 hours you’re satisfied with their performance, give us a call and we’ll transfer our employee to your payroll. Since every Staffing Alternatives’ employee has been interviewed, screened, reference-checked and pre-tested, you reap the time and money-saving benefits of not having to go through these procedures on your own.

Working closely with our clients, Staffing Alternatives designs awareness, training and incentive programs that each of our temporary associates are required to attend.

AWARENESS & SAFETY TRAINING...

OSHA, Hazardous Communication and site specific safety training is conducted for all temporary associates. Follow-up training is conducted on a regular basis and when new equipment or procedures are introduced.

INCENTIVES & REWARDS…

Safe workers create safe workplaces! Being aware of and reporting unsafe situations, understanding proper technique and suggesting safer and better ways of operating should be rewarded. Staffing Alternatives’ B-SAFE incentives do just that. Specific situation and regular incentives are given to temporary associates who exhibit the best safe work habits.
